A huge thank you to all the growers for their resilience, determination, and love for plants, soil, and feeding all of us. It’s been another interesting year for growing food here in our region–quite wet this time, but many crops have been very productive! It seems this has been a great season for apples and sweet potatoes, especially, and others as well.
Share pickup dates are Saturdays, November 20, December 11, and January 8.
Pickup locations:
For Arlington/Winchester area folks pickup is the upper lot at the new All Seasons Barn at Wright-Locke Farm (up the hill, 82 Ridge Street, Winchester). More details to come as we get closer to pickup dates.
For Buzzards Bay area folks, pickup is at Bay End Farm farmstand, as usual! Please note: January shares are not delivered to Bay End–people from Buzzards Bay area pickup in Winchester for January, and there are usually shared pickup arrangements (Ridesharing for Shares!)

Shared Harvest brings you shares thoughtfully composed of food grown by experienced small-scale family farmers growing with organic practices (mostly certified), and within about 100 miles of our pickup location. This is our reason for being!
Here’s who we expect to see in the share boxes this year:
November– apples, Beets, Carrots, Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Purple Top Turnips, Watermelon Radishes, Butternut/Acorn Squash, Cabbage, Shallots, Onions, Garlic, Kale, Popcorn, Leeks, and Herbs
December–Dried Beans, Beets, Carrots, Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, watermelon radishes, daikon, Parsnips, Butternut/Acorn Squash, Brussels Sprouts, Kohlrabi, Cabbage, Shallots, Onions, Garlic, Head Lettuce, Kale, herbs
January–Dried Beans, Beets, Carrots, Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Purple Top turnips, daikon, Parsnips, Kohlrabi, Cabbage, Shallots, Onions, Garlic, Head Lettuce, Kale, Spinach, herbs
The Extras will include Win-Gate farm eggs, Chase Hill cheese and meats, bushels of apples (November), bulk vegetables, fresh organic cranberries (November), organic frozen peaches, and more, plus all that Farm-To-Go has to offer!
Thank to all of you for being part of Shared Harvest–your membership and enjoyment of this food sustains and inspires the growers in so many ways. Your consistent partnership has nurtured the regeneration of our regional food system including the families that steward the land and the soils at the root. I hope Shared Harvest has served to whet your appetite or even anchor your ongoing relationship with the land in our region and the nourishing, life-giving food it provides.

How to sign up for your 2021-22 share
For pickup at Bay End Farm in Buzzards Bay, for November and December, please contact Erin at BayEndFarm.com.
For pickup at Wright-Locke Farm in Winchester:
You can buy one month or all three months.
New this year is the option for a Mushroom CSA from Fat Moon Farm!
Extras will be available for sale, two-three weeks before each pickup
How to sign up for your share:
- Login to your Farm to Go account (see the Shared Harvest portal page for instructions to get an account).
- Choose Shared Harvest Winter CSA as your Distribution Day
- Choose which CSA options you would like!
- Payment for shares & extras can be made by credit card, check, or cash.
- Share payment will be collected the Sunday after you place your order or in two installments, but no later than November 1st.
- Extras payment will be collected after you receive your order.
Shares are limited. Full payment due by November 1st.

The portal for Shared Harvest will stay open for share signups until we are sold out. That portal will also be the channel through which you can pre-order special Extras available on our share pickup dates.
Payment for shares can be made by cash, credit card or check. Instructions are on the website, and there is an option for paying in two installments, also. Payment for Extras is by credit card or check, which will be processed only after you’ve received your order.
Please sign up and pay by November 1. Shares will likely sell out by then anyways.
