Check out this great way to enjoy your farm with other adults and kids ages 10 and up.
I have had so much fun with–and been deeply impacted by–my experiences working with Dave Madan and the MOVE on day-long farm experiences with families and groups of young people. And I’ve found camping at Picadilly to be easy and fun. I highly recommend this if you can get away for the weekend -it would be a fantastic way to experience one of our Shared Harvest farms, an exemplary organic family farm run by the very welcoming and knowledgeable Bruce and Jenny Wooster, of course!
Here is their description:
Come join theMOVE for this incredible, memorable weekend camping trip at Picadilly Farm in New Hampshire! (see past trip photos from 2012 + 2011)
We’ll help out the farmers and their great family, get closer to the sources of our food, enjoy farm fresh meals, and connect with other incredible folks!
The trip fee of $80 includes transportation (via carpool), accommodations (including tents if you don’t have your own), meals, and snacks. Hot showers will be available. We hope you’ll join us out!
